Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order ship?

Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information when available.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free standard shipping on orders of $100 or more before tax. Shipping rates for orders under $100 will be shown at checkout.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States. As By the Sea Marketplace grows, we hope to offer additional shipping options in the future.

Can I return something I ordered?

Yes. Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery as long as they are unused, unopened, in their original packaging, and in the same condition in which they were received.

What if my order arrives damaged or I receive the wrong item?

Please contact us as soon as possible. Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging when applicable, and we’ll work with you to make it right.

What are Cookie’s Picks?

Cookie’s Picks are some of our little sea otter Cookie’s favorite finds from around the marketplace. Look for Cookie throughout the shop to discover toys, gifts, and little treasures we think are extra special.

How do you choose the products you sell?

We thoughtfully select products with quality, creativity, imagination, and joy in mind. We look for the kinds of things we’d be excited to bring home to our own family.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Not yet, but it’s something we’d love to offer in the future. Every order is still packed with care by our family.
